Hope and Healing for Delaney

Story

Hope and Healing for Delaney 💗 Two weeks ago, our lives changed in a way we never could have imagined. Our beautiful 13-year-old daughter, Delaney, was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer. Since then, she has undergone major surgery to remove a large tumor, endured countless tests and appointments, and is now preparing for several months of chemotherapy. Through it all, she continues to amaze us. She’s healing beautifully from surgery and is still our funny, creative, sweet girl who loves art, designing, making clay sculptures, and spending time with the people she loves. Delaney is also the youngest of our three children, with two older brothers who absolutely adore her. As a family, we’re doing everything we can to surround her with love, laughter, and a sense of normalcy through all of this. As her mom, my focus right now is simple: being there for her through every appointment, treatment, and recovery day. I’ve stepped away from work to care for Delaney full-time. With my income temporarily on hold, medical expenses adding up, and months of treatment ahead, our family is facing unexpected financial challenges. We’re also working to create a comfortable learning environment at home so Delaney can continue her education while undergoing treatment. This includes a laptop, school supplies, and a dedicated space where she can learn, create, and stay connected to her teachers and classmates. This fundraiser will help with: * Medical copays, treatment-related expenses, and hospital stays during chemotherapy. * A laptop, school supplies, and a home learning setup for Delaney. ( We are in process homeschool) * Essential household expenses while I’m away from work caring for her. * Additional needs that arise throughout her chemotherapy and recovery. We’ve already experienced how quickly the expenses can add up, and we’re only at the beginning of this journey. Our goal is to give Delaney the stability, comfort, and support she needs to focus on healing and simply being a 13-year-old girl. We’ve been overwhelmed by the kindness, messages, flowers, and thoughtful gestures we’ve already received. We are so grateful for everyone who has checked in and asked how they can help. If you’re in a position to contribute, any amount is genuinely appreciated. And if donating isn’t possible, your encouragement, prayers, and love mean just as much. Thank you for loving our girl and supporting our family through this unexpected chapter. With love and gratitude, Jenna & Family 💗
