Supporting Tom's Fight With Cancer

Floristell, MO

W
Story

So many people have reached out wanting to support my dad, and this is a wonderful way to do just that. Any meal you can provide will save my parents precious time and energy during this difficult time. As many of you know, my dad is not one to ask for help — even though he would drop everything for a friend, family member, or even a complete stranger. To avoid overwhelming him, the best points of contact are me or my mom. I try to get over there a couple of times a week, and since I live in Overland, if you make something freezer-friendly, I or one of my brothers can pick it up and bring it to him. We also live close to the city, so if you're nearby or on the way, we can coordinate getting it to you as well. Feel free to reach out to me directly at (309) 569-8396 to coordinate drop-offs or anything else!

Special Notes

A few things to keep in mind — chemo has a funny way of changing taste buds, so he's currently steering clear of spicy or heavily seasoned foods and very sweet treats (we know, shocking for anyone who's seen his candy stash!). Fish and seafood are also off the table for now.
