While my brother is with Lauren in Birmingham, we have worked hard to keep the girls on their normal schedules and routines as much as possible. On behalf of Tripp and our entire family, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Anniston community. From coordinating carpools to and from school and extracurricular activities, to the incredible meals, treats, and thoughtful gestures dropped off for the girls—your outpouring of love and support has been truly overwhelming. It has meant more to us than words can express. Also, want to extend a huge thank you to our family and friends from afar who have also sent thoughtful gifts to the girls! We’ve had many family members and friends reach out asking how they can help, and we are so grateful. Any support helps us continue maintaining a sense of normalcy for the girls while also easing the load on their caregivers. If you’d like to help in a tangible way, please know the girls are very picky eaters, but some family favorites include: • Texas Roadhouse • Applebee’s • Buffalo Wild Wings • Mellow Mushroom • Fast Food: Chick-fil-A, McDonald's, Burger King, Zaxby's Grocery gift cards to Publix or Walmart are also incredibly helpful and appreciated. Most importantly, the greatest and most meaningful request is for your continued prayers. Your love, kindness, and support are carrying the Johnson family through this difficult season, and we are deeply thankful for each and every one of you. Love, Jamie and Family
Like most kids, the Johnson girls are very picky eaters. If you are local and would prefer to drop off a meal instead of a gift card, please reach out in advance so we can coordinate. Once the parents are back home, we will restart the Meal Train and will share more details at that time.
