Please read and respond!! Dear Troop Leaders, I am reaching out to ask for our Girl Scout community’s support for one of our fellow leaders. Her youngest child has been admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD) with RSV. As you can imagine, this is an incredibly stressful and overwhelming time for their family. While she focuses on being by her child’s side, we would love to come together as a troop leader community to help ease some of the stress at home. We are looking for volunteers to help organize a food train and would welcome support in any of the following ways: Prepared meals: Homemade meals that can be frozen and easily reheated when needed. Food donations: Groceries, snacks, or other easy-to-prepare food items for the family. Monetary donations: Contributions to help cover meals and basic food necessities during this difficult time. You can cash app $happyhippo2020 please add note or 💚 so she knows girl scouts. Abi Gregory thank you Other support: If you have another way you would like to help, we would be grateful. Every contribution, no matter the size, would make a difference and remind this family that they are not alone. As Girl Scout leaders, we are part of a community that shows up for one another, especially when life gets difficult. If you are able to help with a meal, a donation, or coordinating the food train, please reply to this email so we can organize everything and ensure the family receives the support they need. Please also keep this leader, her child, and their entire family in your thoughts as they navigate this challenging time. Thank you for always showing the kindness, compassion, and sisterhood that make our Girl Scout community so special. With gratitude, Girl Scout Service Unit 120
