Cards for Comfort: Grocery Help for the Ochocinskis

W
Story

The Ochocinski family is a part of our Jungman school community. Over the summer Mr. Tom Ochocinski underwent a massive surgery and sadly experienced complications that no one anticipated. At this time, Tom is at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab where he will work to regain movement in his body. He is currently able to move his fingertips which is great progress! As you can imagine, this has created a terrible strain on Mrs. Arlette Ochocinski and the kids as they work to navigate this new reality. Arlette is a kind, caring, and supportive member of our Jungman school community. She has worked tirelessly to beautify our outdoor space from a butterfly garden on 16th to the sunflowers that greet us as we walk along Miller to the school doors. Arlette is an active member of TEAM, and she volunteers for anything this school needs. She attends field trips, helps run and support school fundraisers, and helps shower this staff with love each year during holidays and teacher appreciation week. These are just small examples of her contributions to our school. The Ochocinski kids bring joy to our building on a daily basis and are always willing to jump in and help with anything at school. We would like to bring a little light to the Ochocinski familiy during this difficult time. Let's help gather some Cards for Comfort; grocery gift cards to Aldi or Mariano's will help eveviate some of the stress and remind the Ochocinski family that they are not alone during this time...they are a part of the Jungman Eagle family.
