Blessing the Redmonds

Costa Mesa, CA

Story

If you've made it to this page I just want to say a sincere thank you for covering the Redmond family in blessings. It can be difficult to know how to best provide and I hope this page makes it easier for both the amazing community Aixa & Owen have fostered and the Redmonds to receive the blessing you all want to bestow. Speaking with the family their number one request is wrapping the family in prayer. Ways to help: 1. Prayer 2. Make a donation to Abel Speaks in Elijah's name 3. Meals 4. Deliveries/Acts of Service 5. Kids/Family activities More details for each of these in the notes below.

Special Notes

Prayer: - Prayers to find peace in the loneliness of this journey - Prayers of unity throughout the family as every emotion is experienced - Prayers of unwavering faith in God in the midst of this all - Prayers to heal their broken hearts When you pray over the Redmonds, I think it would be really special if you comment that you are praying or write out the prayer at the bottom of the page, under messages. This way Aixa and Own not only feel your prayers but they can also read each time this amazing group prays over them. Donate: - Abel Speaks is a beautiful organization that supported the Redmonds towards the end of Aixa's pregnancy. they covered the family with prayers and resources. Abel Speaks is rooted in God's word and share God's love with every family they connect with. In lieu of flowers, the Redmonds would be grateful if you would consider making a donation to Abel Speaks in Elijah's name. MESSAGES

Natalie Bogdan
Dear Lord, Our hearts break over the loss of this sweet baby Elijah. We long for the day we will be reunited with him in heaven, where all tears will be wiped away and we will all be made new. We want to lift up the Redmond’s and ask for your comfort and healing to flood over them. Would you surround them with love and tangible reminders of your goodness and faithfulness during this season. I pray specifically for Axia as she journeys through post-partum and her heart longs to hold her baby. Would you give her space to grieve, time to heal, friends to come alongside her, and family to help her carry on. Equip her and Owen to help Oli and Ari understand as best they can how much their baby brother is still a part of their family. Would your Holy Spirit give Aixa strength for each new day and help her to choose joy in the middle of sorrow. Let Your word be the place she runs and finds rest. Help her and her family to live each day in light of the good news that Elijah is in Heaven with his good good Father. Lord, we thank you in advance for your favor and hand upon this beautiful family. We hope that know that we are covering them in prayer today and all the days ahead. In Christ, Natalie, Colin and Jackson Miller “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God…” Isaiah 43:2-3

Heavenly Father, We come to You in our time of sorrow, lifting up Aixa, Owen, Ari, Oli and all who knew and loved Elijah. We thank You for the precious days they had with their little warrior, who brought so much love and light in his brief time here. Though Elijah’s time with us was far too short, his spirit touched hearts deeply, and he will be forever cherished. Lord, we ask that You surround Aixa and Owen with Your comforting presence. Let them feel the depth of Your love, a love that is greater than any pain or heartache. Grant them the strength to lean on one another in their grief, to find solace in their memories of Elijah, and to hold tight to the joy he brought, even in his short journey. We pray for peace to settle over their home, a peace that surpasses understanding. May they find healing in Your embrace and in the love of their family and friends. And though their hearts are broken, let them know that Elijah rests in Your eternal care, whole and free from pain. For Ari and Oli who may not fully understand, we ask that You give them gentle comfort. Help them feel safe in their sadness and guide Aixa and Owen as they provide them love and support during this difficult time. Lord, we entrust Elijah’s soul to You, knowing that he is safe in Your arms. Be with this family in their grief, and give them the grace to carry on with the love and memory of Elijah forever in their hearts. In Your Name, we pray. Amen.
