Brittany will be having knee surgery Thursday 4/16. They will be repairing a bucket handle tear in her meniscus, repairing damaging to her ACL and reconstructive surgery to her knee cap in hopes to help with recurrent dislocations that she’s been struggling with for a few years. Brittany’s recovery will be long and she will be out of work for a minimum of 4 weeks and limited activity for 6-9 months thereafter. Her boyfriend Michael will work extra hours to make ends meet since Brittany doesn’t qualify for FMLA, which means he will not be home till dinner time. Brittany has 2 young children that are also in the home part time. Starting a meal train will help keep the children on a schedule, as well as ease the burden of having to worry about meals while Brittany isn’t mobile.
No dietary restrictions. Family doesn’t prefer red sauce such as that in spaghetti, lasagna, or pizza sauce but everything is appreciated.
