Supporting the Pratt Family

Castro Valley, CA

W
Story

Dear Friends and Family, After 50 years of marriage, our amazing mother Tanya, unexpectedly had to say goodbye to our Dad, and her beloved husband, Richard. As she walks through this season of grief, she is surrounded by our oldest sister, her daughter Sasha, and grandchildren Blaike, Max, and Apollo in the household. We know many of y’all have reached out and asked how to help. We are asking for your love, support, prayers and help with meals as that is so hard to think about during this grieving time. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18) We know that in times of loss, even simple things — deciding what’s for dinner, keeping up with the day-to-day — can feel like too much to carry. So we’ve set up this meal train as one small, tangible way to lighten that load and let our family feel loved and cared for. If you’re able, we welcome your support of meals, whether that is a homemade meal, a gift card to a restaurant, Venmo or DoorDash. Please sign up below for whatever you’re able to give. No gesture is too small — every meal, card, and prayer is a reminder that our family is not walking through this alone. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2) Thank you for loving our family so well and for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers during this heartbreaking time. Through it all God is so good and we are so thankful to have him guiding us every step of the way. Love, Lacie & Rebecca
