I received this message (attached below) right before Christmas from our Neighbors the Mecham's. Having loss my own father right before Christmas, I know how heavy this burden can be not only to grieve a love one but the main caretaker of the family household. Kimberly Mecham was not only a wife and mother but due to medical limitations she was the only driver in the household, that handled every aspect of running their home. With no family nearby and without a close network of friends to help, I would like to encourage our neighbors and friends to help our neighbors in need while they grieve. Galen is working with the consulate in Japan to bring Kimberly home in addition to other business to navigate during this difficult time. Kim & her family has lived in this neighborhood for over 10 years and was always the type of neighbor to drop off a meal if you were sick and greeted you in the parking lot with a friendly hello and smile. Would you please kindly consider sharing this page and sign up to bring 1-2 meals to help our neighbors? Please feel free to text or call me if you have any questions. -Kanani Fleming (321) 355-6264 Message from Galen before Christmas: ************************ It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that my beloved wife Kimberly passed away on December 20, 2025. She was hospitalized that day and died from metabolic acidosis caused by undiagnosed diabetes. Her passing was a complete shock, as she had only begun showing symptoms about a week prior. Kiara and I are devastated and are leaning on each other for strength. During this difficult time, your prayers and moral support would mean the world to us. Information regarding a service will follow once we have had time to process and plan. Thank you for your support. -Galen Mecham
No allergies, no spicy food though.
