Hello, my name is Michele, I have been diagnosed with breast cancer. I am usually not so open to reaching out but I have been given a tough assignment and would sincerely appreciate any bit of help, advise and support this page might bring me. On May 30, 2024 I discovered a lump and immediately the next morning message my PCP to order 3d mammogram with ultra sound. Fast forward to June 26th. It was breast cancer. Even though I had a mammogram in August of 2023 and was cleared. It is aggressive HER3 positive form so the Chemo started August 7, 2024. Unfortunately, after my first treatment, I was not able to return to work and it was not expected to hit me that fast. It has caused a financial burden on my partner Chris of 11 years and I feel so helpless. I am 56 years old and have 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren and have been blessed! But I would like to ask for help, navigating though this journey and take some stress off of Chris as well. If you can provide a meal or anything to lessen the strain of the unknown would be appreciated. I have 4 more treatments to go before the end of November and then the doctors will discuss my surgery date. I will keep this page updated to keep you informed.
