Birthday 16th

For my 16th birthday, I honestly didn't expect anything big. My family doesn't have a lot of money, so birthdays aren't really something we can spend a lot of money on. This would be the first time I was actually going to be celebrated for my birthday, so even the smallest things would mean a lot to me. I wasn't expecting expensive gifts or a big party. I would've been happy with a cake, some balloons, a card, or even just my family making the day feel a little different from a normal day. I know my family does what they can, and I appreciate that more than they probably realize. Even if it was something small or cheap, I would still be happy because it would show that they thought about me and wanted to make my birthday special. Turning 16 is a big thing for me, and honestly I just want to have one birthday where I feel celebrated and not like it's just another regular day. Even the smallest effort would mean a lot to me.
