Hi! My name is Wanda and I’m a wife and mom of two little ones. I’m exclusively breastfeeding our five month old which adds an extra layer of stress to provide for my family. On August 16, I unexpectedly had emergency surgery to remove my appendix. They also found scar tissue in my abdomen that they had to remove. As the primary cook in our home, recovering while caring for my family I suspect will be challenging. We’re hoping to receive a little extra support with meals over the next two weeks while I heal and get back on my feet. Any meal, gift card, or act of kindness means so much to our family during this time. We’re currently low on funds because a week ago our dog also had an emergency surgery. There’s no special dietary restrictions for me due to surgery. We ask for no shellfish since my husband, Chance is allergic.
