I had been suffering with a very enlarged uterus and multiple large fibroids for a couple years now. On February 11th, 2026, I finally had a total hysterectomy, where they removed my 11lb uterus that was the size of a basketball! They had to do an open abdominal hysterectomy since everything was so large and fused to other main organs by scare tissue. This means I am in excruciating and immense pain, and my recovery is looking to be 6 to 8 weeks long. Help with meals would be greatly appreciated, as I wont be able to stand for long or lift. I have three kiddos, ages 15, 13, and 7 that I am also needing to feed. Any help is greatly appreciated!
