Brixton Miller and Family Support Page

Lakewood, CO

Story

This page has been started as a way to keep family and friends updated regarding Brixton's new leukemia diagnosis. This little guy has some serious spunk and is a fighter. So too are his parents. Here's what we know thus far... Brixton had been having more frequent bloody noses for a few weeks and then Dominique noticed some enlarged lymph nodes along his neck. When he was seen at urgent care on Wednesday, May 14th, they noted several bruises in not your typica toddler places and ordered some labs. He was diagnosed with leukemia, underwent a port placement, bone marrow biopsy, lumbar puncture and started chemotherapy within the next 48 hours. While grateful for the fast response and treatment, this is a lot for the family to process. They are receiving your texts and messages and are incredibly grateful for the support. Dominique and Josh are understandably overwhelmed and focusing their energy on Brixton and the battle ahead. Continue to send the support, but please know they may not be reaching out at this time. As they get ready to be discharged home from the hospital, I will post information on a meal train to help keep this family feed and take one thing off their plate. If you are able and inclined to to donate, you can search Brixton Miller in the Go Fund Me link on this website and give there. Community support is how these shocking and scary diagnoses are conquered. Let's show the Miller Family how much we care!
