As most of you are aware our very good friend Stacey came down with what initially appeared to be the flu but quickly turned into a life-threatening medical emergency. Stacey is currently in the ICU at Maine Medical Center in Portland after going into Septic Shock. As of late she has made many positive strides with regard to her healing but still has a long road ahead of her. As you all know Stacey is not only an amazing mother and wife but also a very active and giving community member who supports all who need it when she is able. We are sending this to request that much like we have done with the prayers that we do our best to coordinate assisting the family with meals so that they can concentrate on what is most important, getting Stacey healthy and back home with her family. At this time because Stacey is in ICU she cannot receive flowers, and they are keeping outside visitors to immediate family as I am sure you can appreciate. Thank you for understanding. They are fairly plain eaters, Beef, Chicken, pasta some veggies potatoes, broccolli pasta, basic salads. As of right now that request is for every other day for 4-5 people while Stacey's extended family is still with her in Portland and I believe. that we may at times need to coordinate transportation of said food as Portland is not right around the corner. This websight also offers a gift card option for those who want to contribute but are unable to for logistical or scheduling reasons.
