Our family is coming together to support Stephie, Juwan, and their little family as they navigate an unexpected and difficult medical season. Juwan has recently been hospitalized and, unfortunately, will be unable to work for the foreseeable future while he focuses on his health and recovery. This has brought some unexpected financial and day-to-day challenges for their family, and we want to surround them with as much support as we can. There are so many ways to help, and financial support is only one of them. Showing up for their family can make a huge difference right now—whether that means helping with groceries, meal prepping, pitching in with cleaning around the house, taking Trav to practice, running an errand, stopping by to keep them company, or simply checking in and reminding them they aren't doing this alone. Because Juwan currently has several dietary restrictions, financial contributions can also help offset the additional cost of groceries and meals that work for his needs. But please don't feel like you have to give financially to make a difference. Your time, help, prayers, encouragement, and presence are just as valuable. We know everyone has their own responsibilities and no one is expected to do more than they can. We simply want to create a way for our family and friends to come together, lighten their load where we can, and remind Stephie and Juwan that they have a whole community behind them.
