Hi friends and family, I recently injured my knee (a ruptured ACL and a meniscus tear) and had to have surgery. While I’m on the mend, I’m currently limited to a wheelchair, crutches, and mostly staying inside. While I’d love to pretend I can still do it all, the reality is I can’t cook, clean, drive, shower on my own, or carry laundry up the stairs right now. Everyday things like groceries, meal prep, and keeping the house in order are a real challenge at the moment — especially while I’m still off of one leg and trying to give my body the rest it needs. I’m on a long-term post-surgery recovery to get back on my feet, both literally and figuratively. If you’d like to help, I’d be so grateful for a meal, a quick visit, or even a hand with errands or chores. Every bit of kindness makes this recovery feel a little easier (and a lot less lonely). Thank you for cheering me on as I heal — it truly means the world. With love and gratitude, Athena
