Brandy has been a consistent and committed force of care, strength, love, and joy to our community. She and her family could really use some of our love and care right about now. Brandy and her family have been wading through immense waves of grief. Tragically, 3 of her siblings passed away within 5 years of each other. Now, they are bereft and mourning yet another loss. Last week, Brandy' sister Galaxy also past away suddenly, and too soon. All of their deaths were preventable. On top of having an already active household, with kiddos, and adults,(a total of six!) this is particularly bittersweet time for Brandy and her family. In about a month or so, they will be bringing a new baby home! So, while there will be cause for celebration there may be a call for a little extra help! Your support could go to gift cards for meals and restaurants, cash or donations for bills or costs for time off or expenses for the new baby, childcare, a meal train, and childcare. Im sure you could even make something crafty if you wanted to! (Though, I would check in first with the organizer of the page before doing anything too weird..)
They are a gluten-free household. I hear they are fond of baked goods and like to do a lot of their own cooking. So, restaurant gift cards may be a good thing.
