I am writing on behalf of the Bagley family to share an update on their sweet dad, Greg. His life changed in an instant after a fall on the ice that resulted in a broken hip, a cracked rib, and a traumatic brain bleed. Since the accident, Greg has undergone two craniotomies. By God’s grace, he made it through the second surgery, but the family is still waiting to understand the full extent of the damage to his brain. Greg is currently experiencing seizures, which are being treated with medications that cause heavy sedation. Because of this, he has not yet woken up. Right now, the focus is on controlling the seizures, allowing his brain time to rest, and giving him the chance to wake so doctors can assess whether there is any permanent damage. The family remains hopeful and trust in our miracle-working God as they wait for answers. Please continue to pray for Greg and especially for his wife and daughters who need strength during this incredibly difficult season. The Bagley family is not asking for donations. However, many have asked how they can help, and your prayers, encouragement, and acts of kindness mean more than words can express. If you feel inclined to help the family, Visa gift cards would be used 100% toward the hotel stay. The hotel is located at WakeMed and is roughly $95 per night. Lisa is staying full time at the hospital, with the girls rotating to be with her. “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 Thank you for surrounding the Bagley family with love, prayers, and support.
The Bagleys are simply asking for prayers. If you feel inclined to help, Visa gift cards will be used 100% for lodging. Panera, DoorDash, or Uber Eats gift cards for meals are also appreciated.
