My name is Phillip, and I’m reaching out for a little help for myself and my family as we navigate a tough transition. Our landlord is selling the house we’ve been living in, so we’re in the process of moving, which has brought unexpected expenses. On top of that, my wife’s car needed repairs recently, and I am currently in-between jobs, though I’ll be starting a new position early next week. With the costs of moving and fixing the car, I’ve fallen behind on some bills, and I’ve had to make difficult choices between paying those bills or buying food for my kids. I do receive a disability check from the VA, which helps cover some of our expenses, but it only comes in at the start of each month. Right now, we’re just trying to get by until my new job begins and the next check arrives.
