I started this page because i'm a single mother of three. My husband died, and we get though survivor's benefits. He had worked for his dad for most of his life, so there was not enough paid in for us to receive survivors benefits. I work two jobs, but it wasn't enough. I i couldn't afford to keep our home. So we ended up moving in with my mother. My daughter is grown now. So she is out on her own, but I still have two boys at home. An eleven year old son and a special needs son. I have a car my job and I paid most of the bills of my mom's house. Which prevents us from getting out on our own. We share a room, so I give the boys the bed. And I sleep either on the floor or the couch. Right now i'm trying to figure out a way to come up with enough money to buy groceries for my kids for this week because we don't get any government assistance. I don't know what else to do, but ask for help. I'm not asking for someone to pay my car off or anything like that. Or to build i saw house. I just want to be able to feed my kids and put gas in my car to make it to work. So we can keep what little we have left. Right now, I have sixteen dollars at my bank account to go grocery shopping with for the week. And that has the last us until friday. I don't know what else to do. I hate asking for help. But I don't know anywhere else to turn.
