Story
On July 5th, Jill was at the lake doing what she does every Independence Day holiday with her family-- hitting the water on her slalom ski. Unfortunately, she suffered an injury on this run, completely tearing her left hamstring. An MRI later showed that the damage was severe and Jill has elected to have the tendons repaired by a surgeon at VCU Sports Medicine on Friday July 19th. Jill will be on pain medication, crutches and will need to wear a leg brace immediately following surgery. She will not be driving for awhile. She will need to rest and recover over the next 4-6 weeks. Jill will begin physical therapy on July 30th. She also plans to continue running her business from home once she is feeling up to it. The family's greatest need is help with meals while Bruce continues working full-time M-F (7:30-5:30) and her sons Will & Landon help Jill at home.
