💙 Help Nakai & Nasaiah Get Ready for Back-to-School 💙 My name is Kenya, and I’m a mother of two amazing boys, Nasaiah, 11, and Nakai, 5. I’m putting my pride aside and reaching out to ask for help because sometimes it truly takes a village. With school starting on September 10th, I only have a few weeks to make sure my boys have the clothing, shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and everyday items they need to start the school year feeling confident and prepared. Right now, I’m unemployed and receiving public assistance. I’m not currently working because I don’t have reliable childcare, and unfortunately, I don’t have family available to help me. I’ve always tried my best to provide for my children on my own, but right now I need a little help from my community. Nasaiah is 11 and already wears men's clothing. His feet seem to keep growing, so finding clothes and shoes that fit him properly has become especially difficult. Nakai is 5 and is still very small for his age, so finding the right sizes for him can also be challenging. I’m asking for any donation you’re able to give—whether it’s clothing, shoes, backpacks, school supplies, gift cards, or even a small financial contribution. Nothing is too small. Every donation will help. I’m not asking for anything extravagant. I just want my boys to walk into school on September 10th with the things they need and feel like they’re just as prepared as everyone else. As a mother, asking for help isn't easy. But I’m putting my pride aside because my children come first. ❤️ If you’re able to help, please know that your kindness will mean more to us than I can put into words. And if you’re unable to donate, sharing this post can help us tremendously too. Thank you for taking the time to read our story, for caring, and for helping me give Nakai and Nasaiah a fresh start to the new school year. 🙏🏽💙 Anything helps. Everything is appreciated.
💙 Thank You From the Bottom of My Heart 💙 I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who has donated, shared my story, reached out, or simply kept my family in your thoughts and prayers. As a mother, asking for help was not easy. I had to put my pride aside and admit that I needed support getting Nakai and Nasaiah ready for the new school year. Every donation, no matter how big or small, has made a difference. Your kindness is helping me provide my boys with the clothes, shoes, school supplies, and things they need to start school feeling prepared and confident. More than the items themselves, you’ve reminded me that we are not alone and that there are still people willing to help a family in need. I am truly grateful for every act of kindness. ❤️ Thank you for helping my babies. May the love and kindness you’ve shown us come back to you tenfold. 🙏🏽💙 With love and gratitude, Kenya, Nakai & Nasaiah ❤️
