Supporting the Northrups

Story

Daniel Northrup Obituary Daniel Lewis Northrup, 40, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Wednesday August 13th, 2025. He was born April 7th, 1985 in Auburn, NY. Dan was an extremely loved son, brother, husband, father, and brother in law. He was an avid New York Giants fan, and he enthusiastically enjoyed spending time watching and attending games with his son. He had a long career as a truck driver, and he especially loved his job where he was able to work alongside his best friend and brother Jamie. There was never a moment that he didn’t make a quiet room full of life and laughter. Whether he was having a great conversation by the campfire with family, standing in a room shirtless asking, “does this shirt make me look fat”, or falling through a beach chair at the beach, he always knew how to keep it interesting. He worked endlessly to provide for his family, and share God to everyone he could. He never missed a chance to make meaningful conversation, and he never let you go without a big hug. He loved his church family, and he made such a profound impact on all who knew and loved him. There are absolutely no words that can describe how much Dan meant to his family and friends. Dan leaves behind his beautiful wife and best friend, Jolene Marie Northrup, and his pride and joys, Landen James Northrup and Elliana Grace Northrup. He also leaves behind his Mother, Rosemarie Stevens (John), Brothers, Jamie Northrup (Alisha) and Jason Northrup (Erica), Sisters Laura Clarkson, and Jennifer Glover-Maricle. He also leaves behind his Mother-in-law Penny S. Feocco, Father-in-law William J. Feocco, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, and many beloved friends. He was predeceased by his Father Melvin Edward Northrup Jr and Step mother Bonnie Northrup. Paternal grandmother Margret Irene Northrup, paternal grandfather Melvin Edward Northrup Sr., maternal grandmother Esther Travis, and maternal grandfather Joseph Gould. Dan was fiercely loved and will be painfully missed by many. Calling hours and Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Memphis. Calling hours Wednesday August 20th 4pm-6pm. Services will be Thursday August 21st at 11am with private family burial to follow.
