Meegan's Village and Honoring Paul

Story

Early this morning, our community lost one of the best men we had. Paul Moore of Susanville passed away suddenly, and it has left a hole that can’t be measured. If you knew Paul, you know exactly what I mean when I say he was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back. He showed up. He loved people well. He loved Jesus. And he poured himself into this community, especially through high school football and softball. Salt of the Earth. Paul was the sole provider for his family. Meegan has lost her husband, Caleb has lost his dad, and their little grandson Atlas has lost someone who loved him deeply. Right now, they need us. If you’re asking what you can do—here it is: We need to surround Meegan with meals. A meal train has been set up because the last thing she should have to worry about right now is food. Financial support is needed. I’ve started a GoFundMe to help carry some of the burden Paul used to carry on his own. Help with watching Atlas. If you can help, please reach out to Terra. (We will make sure anyone helping is vetted.) There are also immediate needs, including getting Meegan’s vehicle repaired. This is one of those moments where we don’t just say “let me know if you need anything”....we step in and do something. There are no words to honor Paul that feel like enough. But the best way we can honor him is by taking care of what mattered most to him—his family.

Special Notes

Meegan is requesting the food be left on the porch (SHE LOVES YOU AND is appreciative) however the dogs are aggressive, the baby may be sleeping etc.
