Hello everyone. I am setting this up on behalf of Sherrys mom; Linda Swain-King Rau and her family . As many of you may know, or may not be aware yet, things have been moving very quickly. Sherry’s mom has been in the ICU for the past week. She is in stage 5 renal failure, and unfortunately, there is nothing more the medical team can do. She will be returning home with hospice care either Sunday or Monday so she can spend her remaining time—which the doctors expect may be anywhere from a few days to a week—in absolute comfort and surrounded by love. As the family focuses entirely on being present with her, we want to take the burden of meal planning off their shoulders if possible. Any help with food would be a massive relief—whether that is a prepared dinner, quick lunches, or easy snacks for them to grab while they are sitting by her side. Drop-offs can be left in the cooler on the porch to keep things quiet for the family. Thank you all so much for your incredible kindness, prayers, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
