Our dear Laurel Hallman has been struggling with multiple symptoms for the last few months. She has been diagnosed with late stage Alzheimer's and is aware of that diagnosis. (The diagnosis doesn't explain all of her symptoms, so testing is continuing). She is in good spirits, though not always fully oriented, sleeps a lot and is generally weaker than the firecracker we all know and love. She welcomes visitors and Larry, who is faithfully by her side and overseeing her care, is encouraging folks to come. After six weeks in two hospitals, she is now at Bourne Manor, an extended care facility on the Cape side of the Bourne Bridge.

If you visit, you are very likely to find her asleep. Have no hesitation about waking her up. She will be glad to see you! At the moment, Laurel does not read or respond to phone, text, email or email messages sent to her phone or computer. Please do not use those forms of communication with her. Larry can convey messages.
