Skylar & Ashlynn’s dad was diagnosed with a glioblastoma brain tumor on Thursday, December 4th. The next step will be starting chemo and radiation in about 4 weeks, once he’s had some time to heal. Dad is such a fighter, I know he will push through this as hard as he can! For now, they’re thinking he may stay in the hospital until Saturday, depending on how everything goes over the next couple of days. We’ll see his surgeon again tomorrow and again in two weeks to have his stitches removed and get more information on the treatment plan. Chris has been enjoying healthy meals since his surgery. Fruit, salads and grilled chicken. Vegetables, soup, and chili. Skylar and Ashlynn said they are staying away from foods high in sugars since glioblastoma tumors feed off sugar.
