Last Sunday on March 29th, my mother in law Millie Meyers had to go to ER because of an infection in her right leg. Upon assessment of her leg she was immediately rushed into the OR for emergency surgery. Two days later on Tuesday she had to undergo another surgery to make sure all of the infection was gone. She returned home on Friday, April 3rd. Millie has a wound vac machine hooked up to her leg 24/7 with home health coming in 3 days a week to change the dressing out and empty the machine. She will have this machine for at least 6 weeks if not longer. Her mobility is very limited and she is on bed rest. Our family is is doing our best to help out but it's a lot with other things going on in our daily lives. We appreciate any help.
