Supporting the McCall's

Story

For those of you who do not know, our Lainey Rae was admitted to Greenville Memorial Hospital on Friday the 27th. After previous trips to the ER and doctor’s office, we did not receive the care we had hoped for. Lainey’s diagnosis of food poisoning on Monday turned into a stomach bug on Wednesday. After consistently throwing up, becoming dehydrated, and not having any food since Sunday, we felt it was best to bring her to Greenville Memorial Children’s Hospital to seek further care. Lainey was quickly admitted and started on fluids immediately. They discovered that she had not only developed norovirus but had also developed E. coli. Molly and Avery have been staying by her side since arriving in Greenville. There is uncertainty about how long they will be there while Lainey heals and receives the care she needs. We are trying to keep visitors to a bare minimum as we focus on getting our girl healthy again. Please do not come to the hospital unless you have spoken with Molly or Avery. If you would like to help, you can purchase a gift card to help cover expenses for food during their stay and for travel to see their son, Colt, who is staying back home with his grandparents. You can also Venmo Molly at Molly-McCall-31.

Special Notes

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. We truly appreciate your thoughts and prayers. Avery and Molly have received so many calls and texts, and they are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love and support shown to their family.
