A little love for Willie B!

Story

Hello Village! My friend/brother of 35 years, Will Brown recently had shoulder surgery and I wanted to see if I could get our Village activated in helping him out a little until he can get on his feet. Will has always been a very hard-working independent person. He is single and has no local support system in place. Will would never ask anyone for help like this unless it was a very difficult situation. Unfortunately, for him he must swallow his pride and let us go to work. He is struggling to handle simple daily tasks like cooking, bathing, in addition to getting to Dr. Appts and the store to grab his essentials and food. I couldn’t imagine being alone through this process and feeling the stress and anxiety of how you would just make yourself a meal or use the bathroom. That isn’t good at all, and I hope some of you feel the same way that I do, that no friend/brother of mine is going to be alone on my watch. Small gestures make big waves! Let’s create a Typhoon with our little gestures for a friend in need. I have been doing what I can from Idaho and have my kids doing what they can for him as well, but we could use a little more help. If I was in town this page wouldn’t exist but that isn’t the case so I did the next best thing by alerting all you incredible people in hopes you can help me and help Will Brown. Thank you in advance, and God Bless You and Yours!

Special Notes

Will is normally kind of a picky eater, but at this point he is open to any and all food. He loves sports, and his favorite teams are the Washington Commanders and Boston Celtics. He always loves to work out and anything about fitness. Food, things to read, sports stuff, and possible help with rides to Dr. Appts, and the store would be perfect.
