Meals, Love & Prayers for Jeanna's Heart Surgery Recovery

Lincoln, NE

Story

My best friend Jeanna will be having **open heart surgery on October 23rd**, and she will be off work for a few weeks while she recovers. If you know Jeanna, you know what an incredible person she is. She is kind, selfless, always thinking of others, and truly one of the best people I know. She has been such a huge part of my life, and I honestly can't imagine it without her. I'm putting this Meal Train together to help take a little stress off Jeanna, Bryan, and Benjamin during the next couple of months. Jeanna is always showing up for the people around her, and I would love nothing more than for us to come together and show up for her when she needs it most. We're hoping to provide **daily dinners, along with lunches on Saturdays and Sundays**, for their family of three. Extra portions are always appreciated so Bryan can take leftovers to work for lunch the following day. If anyone would like to help in other ways, household supplies, rides to appointments, or anything else that might make life a little easier are always appreciated, but never expected. Cash donations are also welcome, but please don't feel obligated. There are so many ways to show love and support, and every little bit matters. More than anything, I just want Jeanna to be able to focus on healing without worrying about all the little things that come with everyday life. **Thank you all for loving my best friend and helping us take care of the Reiber family. It means more than you know.** ❤️

Special Notes

Jeanna will be following a heart-friendly diet after surgery, so please keep meals lower in fat and sodium when possible. No onions, green peppers or large chunks of tomatoes, please! Homemade meals are wonderful, but please don't feel like you have to cook! Grocery deliveries, grocery gift cards, or helping with items from their grocery list are just as appreciated. If you'd prefer to contribute toward groceries, meals, or other needs during recovery, Jeanna's Venmo is @Jeanna-Reiber. Cashapp $steanna20 Any questions please feel free to text or call me: Emily Pineda, 402-570-9775. Thank you all for helping make life a little easier for Jeanna, Bryan, and Benjamin while she heals. Every little bit is appreciated!
