On December 8th, our community lost a beloved husband, father, son, and friend. After a year of facing non-Hodgkin's lymphoma with quiet strength and unwavering love for his family, Ryan passed at 12:01 am with his wife by his side. His courage of this year has never wavered and his priority remained the same every step of the way: taking care of his wife Courtney and their three children. As Courtney and the kids begin to navigate life in this unimaginable space of loss and transition, our community has the chance to hold them up in the most practical and loving way: making sure nourishment, food planning, and daily sustenance are taken off their heavy shoulders for as long as they need. Right now, the family is extremely overwhelmed, and we want to support them in a way that protects their space while still showing up fully. Because of that, for the first week, meals and groceries should be delivered to Rita, Courtney's mother, who has lovingly agreed to accept deliveries at her ceramics studio. Meals, grocery drop-offs, and gift cards, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference while this family does the impossible work of grieving and comforting one another. This is not just about food. It is about surrounding them with the same strength and generosity they have shown so many over the years. Please use the calendar below to sign up.
Please direct all meals and deliveries to Rita's ceramic shop or send virtual gift cards for food and groceries directly to: [email protected] GoFundMe Link: https://www.gofundme.com/f/standing-strong-with-the-thoits-family Every meal, every card, every donation, and every prayer wraps this family in the care they need and deserve.
