Hello, I have started this page because I need help, support and encouragement. My name is Mandy, I am 48 years old and was just diagnosed with kidney cancer. My husband of 25 years was riding his electric bike last February and was hit and ran over by a drunk driver and has suffered permanent injuries. In July we were hit by an uninsured driver and our only vehicle was totaled and a complete loss. We now have no vehicle and have lost our jobs and home as well now. I am scheduled to have my kidney removed at the end of October and then I will start chemo treatments. I will need a safe and clean home to come to for recovery after surgery as well. I am asking for any help of any kind. Toiletries, clothing, food, we need a deposit for a place to live as well as rental assisstance, and possibly help in some way securing a vehicle of some kind. We have found a few affordable, small, 1 bedroom apts immediately available if we could get some financial help. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for taking time to hear my prayers.
Only known allergy in Sulfa. I am to have no soda and a very limited amount of sugar and meats. Rice, pasta, vegetables, fruits, water, certain juices etc are best for me at this time. I have nothing to wear while at the hospital or while I recover. I am a women's size lg/xlg and size 7.5 shoe.
