A New home for Ryder

December 2023 Ryder (my husband ) age 52 now was found outside on the ground in freezing cold rain he had been there two days , after arriving at the hospital he was diagnosed with double pumonia and admitted to the hospital 3 days later he underwent test and they discovered he had a massive ishemic stroke that affected his left side causing blindness and weakness in addition to his heart only working 10% , stage 4 chronic kidney disease, chronic neuropathy in both feet and legs , chronic UTI, diabetic, lung disease, copd , he is currently on 14 medications , 2 insulin injections, inhalers and nebulizer, prior to his sudden onset illness Ryder was a self employed handyman with his own business with multiple clients he serviced , he worked 7 days a week from 7 am until after midnight sometimes everything from roofing to yard work he done it and worked harder than anyone i know , while one of his clients was our landlord after living in the home (exchange labor for rent ) and putting our money into purchasing materials over a period of 5 years we were wrongfully evicted , having no where we were able to go we were gifted a 21 ft Rv from another one of his clients, at the time it was a temporary shelter until something more suitable was available, i myself started working at a local hotel/event venue to help establish a stable home quicker, since his stroke ive not been able to work and we struggle to survive on his disability of 997.00 a month not only do i take care of him i also take care of my stroke victim mother (whoms property we reside on) ryder and i nor my mothers home have any electricity established, we use a generator daily for power (mostly at night) we average 15$ in fuel expenses daily just for generator alone , presently the rv has no water hookup due to damage, nor does it have cooking amenities, refrigerator, air conditioner, operational bathroom, and majority of the windows have self exploded as well as roof leaks throughout, its infested with black mold and white mold due to the roof leaks , humidity etc , as well as rats and mice weve tried to eliminate for years , fleas , and bugs , we (I ) have to walk 500 ft to use the bathroom at my moms , cook something to eat with the limited food we have available, we have no washer or dryer to wash clothes they are washed with a water hose , my mothers home as well is infested with mold rodents and bugs in addition to her floors collapsing, molded ceiling, and more ... my husband stays in the rv more than anything else sleeping 20-22 hrs a day daily breathing in the toxins around him the heat and humidity really affect him as well, he isnt able to take a bath but once a month because of the pain associated with walking, I have no help from any other family members on my side nor his side , we face a extreme financial struggle daily with limited food supply, gas expense ,both propane and regular gas , just last September we were hit hard again with a huge set. Back my mothers antique/resale store that was full burned to the ground and also caught the two available vehicles on fire and burned as well we have not had a vehicle since the incident nor did we have insurance on the building its contents or vehicles due to the limited income most of our clothing and shoes burned in the fire as well, weve managed to obtain a few donated clothing items but not many the burdens and health risk for my mother and husband as well as starvation are a major concern for me ive applied for local assistance only to be turned down due to ineligiblity , this was my last resort for help in obtaining safe stable housing and transportation
