Story
Fall of 2024 I was diagnosed with IDC stage 3 breast cancer. I started chemotherapy Oct/2024 and finished January 02, 2025. On February 10, 2025 I had a double mastectomy at Henry Mayo hospital. After my two day stay I was released with the recommendation of radiation due to micromets found in the right axilla. I completed radiation May 2025. In between my treatment I've had petscans, CT scans, blood work, physical therapy, lymphedema therapy and countless of PCP and City of hope visits. I am now preparing for reconstruction surgery, this will be the biggest surgery thus far. I will be under anesthesia for at least 8hours and my recovery will be long as well.
