We stepped into fostering with open hearts, ready to provide a safe, loving, and supportive home. This journey has been a reminder that you can plan and prepare all you want, but when God has something different in mind, He always makes a way. When we first began this process, we expected a more typical fostering situation where we wouldn’t know who would join us, or how old they would be. But today, I’m excited to share that we’re opening our home to a 14 year old boy I’ve had the honor of coaching over the past year at the high school where I work. He will be joining our family very soon, and as we prepare his space, we are celebrating this special new chapter together!
