Dear family and friends, With immense sorrow, I share that Anthony Tyrone Carter Jr. passed away on November 1, 2025. What we believed was the flu after he went to the ER last Friday was actually an invasive Group A Streptococcus infection that rapidly progressed to toxic shock syndrome and multi-organ failure which is a rare but severe illness. Anthony’s kind spirit and bright smile touched so many, and he will be dearly missed. Your love and support mean the world to us during this heartbreaking time. We will be in touch soon with plans to honor his life. We’ve created this page to help support our family as we grieve and begin to navigate life without Anthony.
