Aidan has been on the hospital for over two weeks dealing with an infection (which has now cleared up) and a malfunctioning shunt in his brain. He has had the shunt removed and replaced but the fluid was not flowing though his ventricles and is building up in his brain. This morning they removed the shunt and have put it outside his head so his brain can rest. Aidan will remain in the hospital for at least two weeks as doctors formulate a new plan.
