hello! 'twas the wee hours on the 4th of July, when the mayor of bingen -- sporting his American flag shirt (from Cabela's in Wenatchee) -- strode into the labor & delivery unit. we held hands and cracked a few jokes as i pushed sweet jesse baby into our lives. he and i are doing very well, and eliza is just over the moon to have her little brother -- after all, this is her season of MINE. as you may know or imagine, growing your family is intense and kinda overwhelming! hearty and healthy meals are the greatest gift we can ask for during this newborn phase. if you are able to share a meal with our family, we would be ever so grateful to enjoy some time to catch up and introduce you to jesse :0)
we are omnivores and easy to please. we love a tasty soup/stew/curry that we can serve over rice, loaded salads and "pasta situations." please leave off the mushrooms, and keep dairy light. spice is nice, but not like hot peppers cause we are sharing with a toddler ;0)
