Supporting the Deckert’s

Sandyston, NJ

Story

Brain On April 21st, our world went a little sideways when I was diagnosed with (most likely benign) brain tumors called Meningioma. As you can imagine the past 2 months have been filled with follow up appointments, additional testing, 2nd and 3rd opinions and lots of prayers and decision making as to our path forward. On June 23rd I will undergo a craniotomy to remove both tumors at St. Barnabas in Livingston. Steve will remain by my side as he always has while the kids will be at home, holding down the fort. I anticipate that we will be home sometime around 6/29 although my full recovery will likely take 6-8 weeks. Your support is greatly appreciated as we navigate this challenge together as a family.
