Hello, my daughter had major shoulder and bicep surgery on May 7 and I did not anticipate it being such a rough recovery or should I say so demanding on me (primary caregiver). I am more than happy to give her all my attention but unfortunately, I have a lot of my own disabilities, one being Lupus in which I have been in one of my worst active flares EVER. OUR family is doing all that they can but they all work full-time/over time. I was hoping that I can reach out to the community once again and ask for some help with some home-cooked meals. I know we have a wonderful community that is so generous with helping those in need and times like this. I never like asking for help, but I have learned that God tells us to ask.for help when we needed and be humble & grateful, for those who ask shall receive and accept it when offered. I always return it when needed. I don’t like ordering out all the time because my husband and I are diabetic and eating out has its down falls. I am simply asking because I simply do not have the energy to cook every day taking her back and forth to physical therapy on top of all the regular daily care when I am not on top of my game. I/we appreciate any and all help. Thank you in advance.
Thank you to all the great people in my town of DeLand, my family and friend. I am humble and grateful. God bless you all.
