Community is built in the toughest of times. As you may have heard, Mason Metcalf (T6 - Maisie's little brother) was recently diagnosed with an advanced, rare eye cancer which has caused total blindness in the affected eye. Mason is receiving care that requires monthly trips to New York, and while the Metcalfs focus on his treatment and providing some normalcy, we’d love to come together to help, making sure they feel supported, loved, and nourished. Here’s how you can help: 🥘 Meals: Sign up to provide meals for the family. With two adults and two kids, family-style meals that are easy to reheat are especially helpful. Drop-off is simple — just leave it on the doorstep. 💳 Gift Cards: Since their care requires monthly travel to New York, gift cards (for groceries, travel, expenses, etc.) are a huge blessing to ease that burden. 🛒 Groceries: Another great way to help is by dropping off pantry staples, snacks, or fresh items for the week. (Or send an Instacart gift card) 💌 Encouragement: Even small notes of love and cheer mean the world right now. (Mason's teacher, Nancy, has so generously offered to help and any cards or pictures from your children can be given to her and compiled for Mason to look at when he's gone those weeks getting treatment) Together, we can help carry the load so the family can focus on what matters most: Mason’s healing and their family’s time together.
