*>Below you can leave a message, donate, or schedule a time when you could provide support<* In late September my brother Scott was assaulted in his neighborhood while checking in on his neighbors. Scott has always taken an interest in his community and has always been in support of his neighbors and supported the homeless population to become independent and end their homelessness. After the assault, he was in the ICU four days, had countless stitches, fractured scull, hearing loss in one ear and a significant amount of brain bleeding with damage. Since then he has been unable to work or do basic things like take a shower standing up or remember how to make a meal; all of this in addition to trying to wade through the paperwork and medical appointments. Recovery will be slow due to the amount of brain damage and it’s taking longer than expected to return to basic things like self care, driving, and working. To support his recovery we are looking for donations to help him with bills and basic needs like groceries. If you have resources to spare he would really appreciate the help! Scott has applied for support from the state but the time frame for that support is unknown. In advance, Thank you!
