A couple of weeks ago I had two ischemic strokes, one in the front right side of my brain and one in the back right. Through testing, the doctors discovered a long-term blockage in one of my main brain arteries that another artery has been compensating for, possibly for years. We are still working through the cause, and I have multiple specialist appointments and scans scheduled this month to get full answers. I’m in physical and occupational therapy three days a week and feeling stronger each day. The goal is to recover safely and stay on track to return to work in January. This page is here to keep friends, family, and coworkers updated as things progress. Emma and I are grateful for all the support, messages, and encouragement, it has meant a lot during all of this.
