Hello friends! My sweet mother is having a full ankle and foot reconstruction surgery December 1. I have convinced her to let me reach out for help and support during this healing process. She will be non-weight-bearing for 10 weeks and full recovery will be 9-12 months. She is not super excited, but I am keep her thinking positive! The first 10 to 14 days she will be home bound and is required to have her foot and ankle elevated at all times. We will be spending lots of mother daughter time together (which selfishly I’m looking forward to).
