Leland's Snuggle Squad

Hartford City, IN

Story

Well Hello! Welcome to Lelands snuggle squad! Leland was recently diagnosed with a genetic disorder called PSTPIP1 or PAMI Syndrome. It's an extremely rare disorder as far as the doctors know there are only 44 people diagnosed with this in the World! Leland is only Baby in the State and only Baby at Riley Hospital with this syndrome. We also found out he is the youngest person ever to be diagnosed and has the most severe symptoms. Crazy! But awesome at the same time because we are getting treatment early and Leland is feeling SO much better! Not to mention Leland is already a helper! Helping the Doctors understand his condition to help others in the future! We love and welcome your help! If you want to snuggle and visit you MUST be vaccinated and wear a mask. Leland is unable to get any vaccinations at this time until we can get his inflammatory response to calm and immune system to thrive and not attack when a sniffle occurs. Another great way to help is to sign up for Be the Match, which is the national Bone Marrow donor program. 5 other children in the world received STEM cell transplants which has alleviated all symptoms!! We appreciate all the help and prayers!

Special Notes
