As we celebrate the arrival of her twins, we’re also rallying around an incredible woman and mom who has spent her life showing up for others—first as a selfless Peace Corps volunteer, now as a devoted school counselor, therapist, and always as someone who tackles life head-on (Spartan racer and CrossFitter included!). Due to give birth sometime in June, Kendra’s life with the two newborns and an energetic toddler will be full, beautiful, and exhausting. This is one season where she deserves to be cared for too. Many of us live far away, but technology makes it possible to support her like we’re right down the street. If you’re able, signing up to send a meal (dropping off homemade meals, sending delivery or gift card) is a simple, meaningful way to help lighten the load, keep everyone fed, and remind her she’s surrounded by community—no matter the miles. Thank you for being part of her village.
No allergies or food restrictions; though she does not prefer very spicy foods (mildly spicy is fine). Kendra is someone who’s always pursued a healthy, nourishing diet, and balanced meals make a huge difference for her energy and recovery. If you’re able, meals that include a protein + a starch + a vegetable would be wonderful. Some meals she enjoys are hamburgers, roasted vegetables, salads, Indian, Thai, Mediterranean, and Italian. The meals will be for 2 parents and 1 toddler. Thank you so much for your support!
