As most know, Robin successfully beat breast cancer in 2021. This past fall, she began having new symptoms in other areas whilst missioning in Central America. It was later found that she had a 7cm tumor in her brain, as well as cancer in her liver and pelvis. Robin is currently nine (9) days post-brain tumor removal surgery. She was having some neurological issues such as memory loss and disorientation before; this has continued to be an issue post-op. It is advised that she has someone with her at all times for at least the first 30 days, possibly longer. We are asking for people who love Robin to go and visit with her and maybe assist with any needs she has around the home during this time, or even just simply sit and keep her company, depending on her wishes/needs at the time of your visit. This provides extra eyes on Robin, of course, but also provides some much needed respite to Dennis and Jubi. If you have ever been a caregiver to a loved one, you know how important it is that the caregiver gets rest, just the same as their loved one. The Creasons are the most loved family any of us can think of and have spread their ministry over the course of a couple of decades, never abandoning anyone who comes to them with a need. This care schedule is being started so that the family can focus on Robin and her needs, and so that they have the time they need when they need to rest themselves.
Please remove shoes upon entry to the Creason's home and turn down (or silence) your cell phone notifications. This is for the purpose of minimizing any unnecessary noise so that Robin is not overwhelmed.
