As many of you know, Kari was diagnosed with uterine cancer in May. This will require a complete hysterectomy which will take place at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD on Tuesday, June 23, which we pray completely removes the cancer. So far testing has shown the cancer has not spread elsewhere, but a full pathology report following surgery will determine if any further treatment is recommended. The recovery for this surgery will require much rest as Kari will have restrictions on lifting and movement for quite a while. Through this cancer, surgery and recovery journey, the Andrews Family will have tangible needs that we get to come alongside and care for them in! Please take a look at the ways we can help their family and sign up if you’re able to help!!
With regard to meals: Number of people to feed - 2 adults, 2 children Preferences - main dish with sides rather than casseroles; pizza, Mexican, pasta, shredded meats and soups are favorites, along with fruits and veggies (especially cucumbers & grape tomatoes).
